Look how God's working in us, girls! Stepping Up has definitely encouraged the psalmists in us :) Anna Giesbrecht read us a wonderful poem last week that she'd written about the study we've just finished and I asked if I could post it on the blog. Enjoy!
We're starting two new studies in January...if you missed Stepping Up, I hope you'll join us in the New Year!
Our six week sessions have come and gone
Look at all that God has done!
We've cried, laughed and loved each other,
Came out to study despite the weather.
We're all on a journey destined for heaven,
Step by step we're heading there, all of us seven.
Jen, our leader is such a joy,
Teaching us lessons to employ.
My friends you all are, including Bubbles,
Praying for each other with all our troubles.
It's been great fun, we hate to part,
But we'll keep in touch if we're at all smart.
We've learned to lean on God and pray,
Memorizing scriptures day by day.
We say them, work them and pray them.
Each moment of the day, clinging to Jesus hem.
Remembering we are not stuck;
Our power's within; believe not in luck.
But if in case you do feel stuck,
Call one of us, we'll pray you through.
You'll find relief, I bet you a buck.
God's word says so, yes, it's true.
